Very proud to have been the designer and facilitator of the naming process from which ITV Encore emerged. Sincere thanks to Elinor and the folks at ITV for responding so brilliantly to the naming challenge. I wish ‘Encore’ every success. I shall certainly watch ‘Broadchurch’ again. Can I make a plea for ‘Unforgiven’ from Sally Wainwright, author of the brilliant ‘Happy Valley’ to be included on the channel?

In Unforgiven, Suranne Jones plays a woman found guilty of murdering two police officers when she was a teenager who, upon release from prison, is determined to see her sister who was adopted. An amazing tale, well told with a twist in the end.

Unforgiven won Best Drama Series or Serial at the 2009 RTS Programme Awards.[1]
